Drawing Dynamic Visualizations
The first two minutes of this video should have you hooked in for the next half hour. I am always blown away by what Bret Victor does and this is no exception and while it is not directly related to iOS development it is still fascinating.
Going beyond iOS 7's pretty face
Getting your app in front of the pack this year will take more than a facelift. A cautionary tale from Craig Hockenberry on code signing issues in Mavericks. Seems like Mac apps (even Developer ID signed apps) now require all nested bundles to also be signed. If you are submitting an app for next week's Mavericks launch reading this will very likely save you a lot of pain.
Following last week's open source release of Inkpad, this week sees Steve Sprang also open source his Inkpad's more famous brother, Brushes. Back in 2009 this app was used by Jorge Colombo to draw cover images for the New Yorker. This is a great slice of history, I wonder what he will release next week.

A Typographic Approach to Email
Whether or not the next version of OS X gets a flatter user interface or not, experiments like this one are always worth taking a few seconds to look at. How would a mail client app look if it was 100% typography based rather than having traditional chrome around it. The end result would look very at home on iOS 7.
So here it is, Issue 2! Thanks so much for the fantastic response to last week's round up. The list already has over 850 subscribers which is unbelievable! Let's see if we can break 1,000 by next week?
If you have any links you would like to suggest for future issues then please tweet me with them or reply to this mail.
Quick note from me this week before we get started with the links. It feels like we have been quite light on code articles the last couple weeks so if you come across any decent coding focused blog posts over the next week please do send them to me. Oh and you get bonus points if you suggest something you didn't write yourself! ;)
